Factory Manager Abu Dhabi
My clients are seeking a Factory Manager to join their Abu Dhabi based organisation, operating within high-security and regulated manufacturing industry.
This is a critical, on-the-ground leadership role for someone who thrives on the shop floor and has full ownership of factory operations from planning and procurement through to production, quality, and logistics.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading end-to-end factory operations, ensuring production plans align with demand and capacity
- Overseeing production planning, order management, procurement, and fulfilment
- Managing daily shop-floor activities, resolving bottlenecks and driving efficiency
- Ensuring strict adherence to quality, security, safety, and regulatory standards
- Supervising inventory, logistics, and material flow across the facility
- Driving LEAN manufacturing, continuous improvement, and operational excellence
- Using ERP systems (ideally SAP) to track performance, report KPIs, and support decision-making
- Acting as a visible leader on site, coaching teams and leading by example
The ideal profile:
- Minimum 5 years experience managing factory or plant operations
- Background in security printing, regulated manufacturing, packaging, or other high-compliance environments
- Strong exposure to production planning, quality, procurement, and logistics
- Proven experience implementing LEAN / continuous improvement initiatives
- Comfortable working in a controlled, audit-driven environment
- ERP experience required (SAP strongly preferred)
