Factory Production Manager

Job Overview
Manage and lift the quality of fabrication, installation, and dismantling of exhibition stands, custom displays, event setup, outdoor and indoor structures, and interior fit-out. Reporting to the Managing Director he will be required to choose & create a skilled factory production team between foremen, carpenters, painters, electricians, and upholsters that are very well respected throughout the industry.
Job Duties:
- Review designs, and drawings and work closely with the design department & the project manager to ensure production objectives are met
- Estimate for the project's internal costs
- Monitor the budget for each project and seek approvals from the finance team.
- Prepare a list of purchasing new materials, use of in-house materials, logistics and manpower
- Monitoring and adhering to project budgets and implementing tactics to save money
- Make production schedule based on factory capacity and following-up production schedules during the process
- Coordinate between project managers and production team to ensure timely delivery of project
- Monitor day-to-day factory production procedures, team allocation, store material availability, labor attendance, overtime approvals etc.
- Coordinate between the in-house production team and subcontractors during third-party production involvement through the project management team
- Submit production invoices to the finance department. Teams leaders petty cash, supplier's invoices, etc.
- Submit weekly reports for management, which include projects status and production achievements.
- Preplanning and developing installation and dismantlement plans to ensure smooth delivery of projects
- Determine the human resources required
- Determining material resources required
- Set product quality standards and make sure standards are enforced and executed by the production team
- Implement and enforce quality control and tracking programs to meet quality objectives
- Monitor and review the performance of staff, conflict resolution, and developing programs for improvement
- Implement the highest level of health and safety
- Prepare and deliver any required production training to enhance production standards. Including Supervise and evaluating the performance of production personnel
- Conduct regular maintenance work for our machines & equipment
Skills:
- A minimum of 4 - 5 years in Exhibition stands & Interior fit-out industry
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office & AutoCAD
- Strong communication skills
- Strong trafficking and production management skills
- Strong knowledge in details & finishing
- HSE and working from heights certifications a plus
