We are looking for a dedicated and dynamic Faculty Member to teach, mentor, and guide students in our Psychiatric Nursing program. The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background in psychiatric nursing, a passion for teaching, and a commitment to student success. This role offers the opportunity to impact future nursing professionals through a combination of classroom teaching, clinical instruction, and curriculum development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach undergraduate or graduate nursing students in the Psychiatric Nursing program.
- Develop and deliver engaging and effective course content, including lectures and clinical experiences.
- Supervise students during clinical rotations and provide mentorship to ensure clinical competency.
- Contribute to the ongoing development and evaluation of the nursing curriculum.
- Provide academic advising and support to students throughout their program.
- Participate in faculty meetings, committees, and departmental initiatives.
- Engage in research, professional development, and community service related to nursing education and practice.
Requirements
Masters in Psychiatric Nursing, Doctoral degree in Psychiatric Nursing
Minimum of 5 years of experience in psychiatric nursing.
Experience in teaching and mentoring students is highly desirable.
Certification in Psychiatric Nursing is preferred or required within a designated time frame.
Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to inspire and engage students in the learning process.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and quality improvement in nursing education.
