We are looking for a Feeding Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our Feed Center within the Dairy Department. This role is responsible for managing feed inventory, coordinating distribution, ensuring feed quality, and leading a dedicated team to support cattle nutrition and overall farm productivity.

Department: Dairy Feed Center
- Supervise and coordinate the day-to-day operations of the feed Center, ensuring timely and accurate feed distribution to dairy animals according to established protocols and schedules.
- Manage feed inventory levels, including ordering, receiving, and storing feed ingredients and finished feed products, to ensure an adequate and uninterrupted supply.
- Collaborate with the Manager to develop and implement feed Center procedures, guidelines, and quality control measures to maintain feed consistency and meet nutritional requirements.
- Monitor feed quality through regular inspections, sampling, and analysis, taking appropriate measures to address any deviations or issues.
- Lead and support the feed Center personnel, including training, scheduling, performance management, and fostering a positive work environment.
- Maintain accurate records of feed inventory, consumption, and related documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational standards.
- Collaborate with the Manager to develop and monitor feed Center budgets, including feed costs, labor expenses, and equipment maintenance.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols and good manufacturing practices within the feed Center, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations and industry standards.
- Coordinate with other departments, such as herd management and maintenance, to ensure smooth workflow and effective communication regarding feed Center operations.
- Stay updated on industry trends, advancements, and best practices related to feed management and nutrition, incorporating relevant knowledge into feed Center operations.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, and operational efficiency within the feed Center.
- Report operational updates, challenges, and performance metrics to the Manager in a timely and accurate manner.
- Foster a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement within the feed Center team.
- QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:
Education and Certifications
- Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) in Animal Production & Farm Management from a reputable institution.
Experience:
- 2-3 years of experience in a feed center or similar role within the dairy industry, with demonstrated leadership abilities.
- Preferred Middle East experience.
- Good knowledge of dairy farming, Herd Management, Milking, Animal Health & Veterinary services, Animal Breeding & Reproduction activities.
- Experience in Food Safety & Security Technology, Good Farming Practice (GFP), Handling Dairy Farm Animals & Welfare.
