Responsibilities
- Provide strong and innovative leadership to the secondary school team
- Foster a culture of respect, inclusion, and educational excellence
- Oversee the development and implementation of curriculum and assessment practices
- Collaborate with staff, parents, and the wider community to support student learning and well-being
- Manage resources effectively to support the needs of the secondary school
Qualifications
- Proven leadership experience in an educational setting, ideally within a secondary school
- Strong understanding of inclusive and diverse educational practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive environment for students and staff
- A relevant bachelor's or master's degree in education or a related field
Day-to-day
- Lead and support the secondary school team
- Communicate and collaborate with stakeholders including staff, parents, and the wider community
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the secondary school
- Ensure an inclusive and supportive environment for all students and staff
- Implement and monitor educational programs and initiatives aimed at enhancing the learning experience for secondary students
