Job Purpose
The Finance Analyst will be responsible for analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and providing insights to support strategic decision-making. This role requires an understanding of financial principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to communicate financial information clearly.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Data Analyst
- Assist in the collection, analysis, and interpretation of financial data to support decision-making across the company.
- Provide insights into financial performance through variance analysis and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Reporting
- Prepare and maintain financial reports, including monthly and quarterly financial statements.
- Ensure the accuracy and consistency of financial data presented to stakeholders.
Budgeting and Forecasting
- Support the finance team in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
Cross-Departmental Collaboration
- Work with various departments to provide financial insights that aid in business planning and decision-making.
- Assist in the preparation of financial plans for new initiatives and projects.
Compliance and Process Improvement
- Ensure compliance with internal financial policies and external regulatory requirements.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the implementation of best practices.
Ad-hoc Financial Analysis
- Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis to support strategic initiatives and address specific business needs.
- Assist in the development of financial models and tools to improve financial analysis capabilities.
Key Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics
- 4 plus years of experience in a finance or accounting role or corporate finance or related fields
