Finance Director – Agri Commodities Procurement & Trading (Arabic Speaker)
We are currently partnering with a leading global commodities group to appoint a Finance Director to join their leadership team in Dubai. This is a high-impact role for a commercially minded finance leader who will act as a true business partner to senior management, driving financial strategy, performance, and growth across the region.
This opportunity is ideally suited to a seasoned finance professional with deep experience in agribusiness and commodities procurement (wheat, corn, feed grains), combining strategic oversight with the ability to operate hands-on in a fast-paced trading environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead overall financial strategy, planning, and performance management across the MENA region, leveraging deep expertise in global trade flows to drive commercial value.
- Partner closely with senior leadership on commercial decision-making, investments, and growth initiatives
- Drive budgeting, forecasting, and cost optimization to enhance profitability
- Oversee treasury, capital structure, cash flow, and working capital management
- Ensure robust financial controls, governance, and compliance frameworks
- Deliver high-quality management reporting and actionable insights to support strategic decisions
- Build, lead, and develop a high-performing finance team
- Collaborate cross-functionally across trading, procurement, and operations teams
Requirements
- Professional qualification: CA / ACCA / CPA (MBA preferred)
- 12–15+ years experience, with a strong track record in senior finance leadership roles
- Proven experience within agribusiness, commodities trading, or procurement (wheat, corn, feed grains)
- Strong expertise in financial strategy, FP&A, treasury, and risk management
- Demonstrated leadership capability with experience building and managing teams
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and financial modelling
- Fluent Arabic and English are essential (coverage of Egypt and wider MENA region)
