About the Role
We are seeking a talented and commercially minded Finance Lawyer with at least 5 years post-qualification experience (PQE) to join a growing Dubai office. This role offers the opportunity to lead on high-value, cross-border finance transactions with an international client base including banks, financial institutions, private equity sponsors, and corporates.
Key Responsibilities
- Advising clients on a broad range of banking and finance matters
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating finance documentation.
- Managing and coordinating multi-jurisdictional transactions alongside international counsel.
- Providing strategic, commercially focused legal advice to clients.
- Supporting business development initiatives and contributing to the growth of the firm's finance practice in the region.
Candidate Requirements
- Qualified lawyer with a minimum of 5 years PQE gained at a reputable international or regional law firm.
- Strong experience in banking and finance transactions, ideally with exposure to cross-border matters.
- Experience advising on Cayman Islands law transactions or working on transactions involving Cayman structures would be highly desirable.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Ability to run and manage own workflow
- Ability to manage complex matters and maintain strong client relationships.
- Strong academic background and a proactive, collaborative approach.
