Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Finance Manager located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The Finance Manager will oversee the company's financial operations including preparing financial reports, managing budgets and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. The role involves financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and overseeing financial audits to ensure the organization's fiscal health. The Finance Manager will analyze financial data, develop financial strategies, and provide insights to support decision-making and business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
1) Financial Control & Reporting
Review key reconciliations (Bank, AR, AP). Prepare monthly P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow; ensure timely month-end closing. Conduct variance and margin analysis; monitor cost per job and profitability.
2) Revenue & Receivables Oversight
Ensure 100% service-to-invoice conversion. Monitor aging reports; manage escalations and approve credit notes as required. Oversee billing reconciliation.
3) Payables & Expense Control
Approve supplier payments and review supplier reconciliations. Monitor operational expenses; prevent duplicate/unauthorized payments. Ensure payroll accuracy.
4) Cash Flow & Working Capital
Monitor daily cash position and review cash flow forecasts. Optimize the working capital cycle.
5) VAT & Compliance (UAE)
Review VAT output & input reconciliations and approve VAT returns before submission. Ensure FTA compliance and support audits & regulatory requirements.
6) Internal Controls & Risk Management
Design & improve internal controls and maintain segregation of duties. Conduct fraud risk reviews and maintain audit readiness.
7) Budgeting, Planning & Business Support
Prepare the annual budget, track budget vs actual performance. Deliver forecasting and support expansion analysis. Inventory management
8) Team Management & KPIs
Supervise finance officers (Invoice, AR, AP). Drive performance against key KPIs including month-end close timelines, healthy DSO, and cash flow discipline.
