Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to oversee financial planning, reporting, and control within a dynamic retail environment. The role requires strong expertise in retail finance operations, including revenue analysis, inventory control, and margin optimization, to support business growth and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
- Analyze retail sales performance, margins, and profitability across stores and product categories
- Monitor and control operational costs, ensuring alignment with financial targets
- Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Ensure accurate accounting of inventory, stock valuation, and cost of goods sold (COGS)
- Partner with commercial and operations teams to support pricing strategies and promotions
- Develop financial models to support business decisions and expansion plans
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, company policies, and audit requirements
- Manage cash flow, working capital, and banking relationships
- Lead and develop the finance team to ensure high performance and continuous improvement
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (MBA or professional certification is a plus)
- Minimum 7 10 years of experience in finance, with strong experience in the retail industry
- Proven experience in financial planning & analysis (FP&A) and reporting
- Strong understanding of inventory management and retail operations
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP is highly preferred)
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and analytical thinking
