Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Finance Manager with strong experience in the Real Estate industry to oversee financial planning, reporting, budgeting, and project-based financial operations for a major real estate development project located in Somalia.
The ideal candidate will possess hands-on expertise in real estate cost structures, feasibility analysis, and compliance with International accounting standards and tax regulations.
Key Responsibility:
- Oversee and manage all financial operations of the real estate project.
- Develop, monitor, and control project budgets and cash flows.
- Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Conduct feasibility studies, cost analysis, and financial projections.
- Ensure compliance with International accounting standards, VAT regulations, and financial policies.
- Monitor project expenditures and verify cost allocations.
- Coordinate with project teams, contractors, suppliers, and top management.
- Manage audits, financial controls, and risk mitigation processes.
- Support strategic decision-making with financial insights and recommendations.
- Implement and improve financial systems, policies, and procedures.
Qualification and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (Master's preferred).
- Professional certifications such as ACCA, CPA, CMA, or equivalent are an advantage.
- 57 years of experience as a Finance Manager or Senior Accountant in a Real Estate company.
- Strong knowledge of real estate financial models, cost structures, and project-based accounting.
- Solid understanding of International VAT, corporate tax, and financial compliance.
- Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills.
Additional Requirement:
- Willingness to relocate to Somalia for the duration of the project.
- Ability to work independently and handle multi-project financial operations.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
