About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Finance Manager to oversee the complete financial operations of our real estate development projects. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with a proven track record in financial planning, reporting, and cash flow management within the dynamic real estate sector, who will be responsible for overseeing all financial planning, reporting, and cash flow management; preparing budgets; monitoring expenses; ensuring compliance with tax and regulatory requirements; and providing crucial financial insight for strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
As the Finance Manager, you will be the financial backbone of our organization, responsible for:
- Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A): Directing all budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning activities, specifically tailored to the life cycle of real estate projects (acquisition, development, sales).
- Reporting and Compliance: Overseeing the preparation and accuracy of all financial statements and management reports in accordance with IFRS/GAAP standards.
- Cash and Treasury Management: Managing daily cash flow, optimizing working capital, and ensuring adequate funding is available for all development stages.
- Strategic Insight: Providing high-level financial insight and analysis to the executive team to support strategic decision-making, investment opportunities, and risk management.
- Expense Control: Monitoring project expenses against approved budgets and implementing effective cost control measures.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring strict adherence to all tax, regulatory, and financial reporting requirements.
- Leadership: Leading and mentoring the finance team to ensure efficiency and accuracy across all functions.
Qualifications and Experience
- Experience:Minimum of 12 years of progressive experience in finance, with a mandatory background in real estate development in a similar managerial role.
- Education & Certification : Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance. CPA or CMA certification is highly preferred.
- Technical Skills: Expert proficiency in financial modeling, advanced budgeting techniques, and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
- Core Competencies: Demonstrated excellence in Budgeting, Cash-Flow Management, Strategic Planning, and effective Leadership and communication skills.
