Job Description

Deputy General Manager – Commercial Operations

Role Objective

The Deputy General Manager – Commercial Operations is responsible for leading and integrating Commercial Operations, Finance, and Supply Chain to drive sustainable growth, profitability, and operational excellence across the healthcare business. The role ensures efficient execution of commercial strategies, tender operations, inventory optimization, and financial performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead commercial operations, sales support, and revenue optimization.
  • Oversee end-to-end management of NUPCO, MOH, and private sector tenders.
  • Drive commercial strategies for product launches and market expansion.
  • Manage P&L performance, budgeting, cash flow, and gross margin optimization.
  • Oversee credit control, collections, and compliance with ZATCA and IFRS requirements.
  • Ensure effective inventory planning, procurement, and supply chain performance.
  • Manage supplier and key customer relationships, including healthcare providers and strategic partners.
  • Ensure compliance with SFDA regulations and operational best practices.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Revenue Growth & Gross Margin
  • Tender Win Rate in NUPCO and PVT competitive bidding.
  • Days Sales Outstanding (DSO)
  • Forecast Accuracy & Inventory Optimization

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain, Pharmacy, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in the Saudi healthcare, medical devices, pharmaceutical, or healthcare distribution sector.
  • Strong experience with NUPCO, MOH, and private healthcare tenders.
  • Solid understanding of Finance, Commercial Operations, and Supply Chain management.
  • Proven leadership, strategic planning, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Arabic.
