Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own the delivery of accounting and transaction processing. Lead the COE team and ensure that the agreed KPIs are met for the transaction processing operations while ensuring compliance with the defined SOPPs & SOAs
  • Supervise timely and accurate settlement of vendor payments while ensuring compliance to internal SOPs and control checks
  • Ensure timely and accurate reconciliation of sales and banking for respective businesses with zero leakage on collections
  • Maintain and review critical schedules to ensure the accuracy and reliability of financial reporting
  • Ensure timely submission of information for MIS, Finance Assurance & other compliance checklists
  • Coordinate and ensure timely completion of Statutory & Internal Audits with no material observations
  • Lead the consolidation of financials for the group companies
  • Ensure compliance to the control framework and suggest improvement opportunities
  • Ensure timely response IA reports & timely implementation of agreed action plans
  • Track and ensure complaince with laws and regulations
  • Coordinate and manage insurance coverage and claim management as needed
  • Ensure compliance to applicable laws and regulations including Tax laws
  • Coordinate & ensure compliance to VAT and CIT laws including return filing and supporting assessments
  • Ensure effective cash flow management including optimal use of treasury products

Lead and manage special projects as may be assigned by the Head Coproate Finance

Knowledge, Skills & Experience required for the role:

Education: Chartered Accountant (ICAI)

Years of Experience: 8-10 Years

Nature of Experience: Similar experience preferably in hospitality businesses

Functional Skills: Excellent knowledge of accounting standards and guidelines, cash flow management, exposure to ERP environment (Oracle or SAP), excellent skills in MS Office tools.

Behavioral Skills: Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. High level of integrity and ethical standards. Ability to manage multi-cultural teams.
