JOB TITLE

Finance Manager | Majid Al Futtaim Properties

ROLE SUMMARY

The Finance Manager will manage, actualize, maintain, and refine financial feasibility and reporting for Egypt Active projects. The role involves conducting financial assessments to support executive investment and strategic decisions while ensuring compliance with IFRS/IAS and local regulations. The role provides financial evaluations to identify and leverage opportunities, mitigate risks, and optimize project profitability.

ROLE PROFILE

  • Financial Management & Compliance: Ensure all development transactions comply with IFRS/IAS, local regulations, and company policies, with proper authorization and documentation. Prepare BAR, system budgets, and GL balance reconciliations.
  • Investment & Feasibility Analysis: Conduct financial modeling, feasibility studies, and profitability analysis to support strategic decisions, track key KPIs, and optimize cash flow. Prepare CEC and Board Approval packages for investment recommendations
  • Revenue & Asset Management: Prepare revenue analysis, balance sheet reports, and support the tax team in tax filings. Prepare and maintain the fixed assets register, including movements, capitalizations, and depreciation.
  • Accounts Receivable & Financial Control: Prepare Accounts Receivable reports, ensuring accurate billing, efficient cash flow management, and strong client relationships.
  • Audit & Regulatory Compliance: Coordinate with internal and external auditors, prepare for RERA audits, and implement audit recommendations to strengthen financial stewardship. Ensure adherence to IFRS/IAS and regulatory requirements.
  • Strategic Planning & Budgeting: Prepare annual budgets, financial forecasts, and variance analysis, ensuring accurate revenue recognition and cost control.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance.
  • Minimum 5 years experience of independently performing investment analysis/ financial research with a leading real estate developer.
  • A holder of CPA, CFA, ACCA or MBA.
  • Detail oriented with sound understanding of Business and Financial Modeling.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and excel skills.
  • Experience working with Public Big Four is a plus.
