Job Responsibilities :
Financial Management & Control
- Manage day-to-day financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and cost efficiency
- Establish and maintain strong financial controls, policies, and procedures
- Oversee income and expenditure, ensuring proper recording and authorization
- Monitor cash flow and working capital to support business operations
Budgeting, Forecasting & Reporting
- Prepare and manage annual budgets in collaboration with leadership
- Produce regular financial reports, forecasts, and variance analyses
- Support business planning and financial modeling for growth and expansion
Compliance & Governance
- Ensure compliance with local tax, statutory, and financial reporting requirements
- Liaise with auditors, accountants, and regulatory bodies
- Support internal and external audits and implement recommendations
Revenue & Financial Operations
- Oversee invoicing, collections, and revenue reconciliation processes
- Support pricing strategies, discounts, and financial approvals
- Ensure accuracy of financial data for reporting and operational needs
Procurement & Contracts
- Support procurement processes and supplier management
- Oversee contracts to ensure compliance and cost-effectiveness
Stakeholder Management
- Partner with senior leadership to provide financial insights and support decision-making
- Act as a key link between finance and operational teams
- Provide financial guidance to non-finance stakeholders
Systems & Process Improvement
- Ensure effective use of financial systems and reporting tools
- Identify and implement process improvements as operations scale
- Support system implementations and reporting enhancements
Team Management
- Manage and support finance staff or external partners where applicable
- Foster a culture of accountability, professionalism, and continuous improvement
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field
- Professional certification (ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or equivalent) is a plus
- Proven experience in a finance management or senior finance role
- Strong background in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
- Experience with financial controls, compliance, and audit processes
- Proficiency in financial systems and advanced Excel
- Experience handling sensitive financial information
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to simplify financial data
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
