Job Description
Reporting directly to the General Manager, the successful candidate will:
- Lead the overall finance function, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, treasury, taxation, audit, and compliance.
- Partner with senior stakeholders to provide financial insights that support strategic and operational decision-making.
- Drive annual budgeting processes, forecasting activities, and business performance analysis.
- Strengthen governance frameworks, internal controls, risk management, and financial compliance practices.
- Manage cash flow, working capital, banking relationships, and capital allocation initiatives.
- Lead finance transformation projects, automation initiatives, and reporting enhancements to improve business intelligence capabilities.
- Develop and mentor the finance team while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
The Successful Applicant
- Degree-qualified in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline, with professional accounting qualifications advantageous.
- 10+ years of progressive finance leadership experience, including controllership or senior finance management responsibilities.
- Strong expertise across financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, treasury management, taxation, audit, and corporate governance.
- Proven track record of business partnering with senior management and influencing strategic decisions.
- Experience driving finance transformation, process improvements, automation, or ERP-related initiatives.
- Demonstrated success leading and developing high-performing finance teams.
- Experience within business services, environmental services, facilities management, engineering services, logistics, field services, multi-site operations, or similarly complex operational environments would be highly regarded.
- Comfortable operating within entrepreneurial, growth-oriented, or rapidly evolving organisations.
