Finance Manager
Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE (Hybrid Office & Remote)
Salary: AED 40,000 50,000 per month
Availability: Ideally immediately available
A global data centre company is looking to appoint an experienced Finance Manager to support the growth of its operations in the Middle East. While the organisation is well established internationally, the regional business is in an early growth phase, so this role requires someone who is comfortable operating within a corporate environment while also bringing a start-up mindset.
This position will play a key role in managing financial operations, supporting project delivery, and acting as a strategic partner to leadership as the company continues to expand in the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day financial operations of the UAE business, ensuring accurate reporting and compliance with local regulations.
- Manage project accounting, including tracking project costs, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting related to large-scale infrastructure projects.
- Work closely with project teams to ensure financial controls and cost management across active developments.
- Prepare monthly management accounts, financial reports, and variance analysis for regional and global leadership teams.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning as the company expands its regional footprint.
- Ensure compliance with UAE tax and VAT regulations, including preparation and submission of VAT returns.
- Coordinate with local auditors and support annual audit processes.
- Partner with international finance teams to ensure alignment with global financial standards and reporting requirements.
- Contribute strategically to the development and scaling of the regional finance function.
- Implement and maintain robust financial processes, controls, and reporting frameworks.
Requirements
- Proven experience working as a Finance Manager or Senior Finance professional within a corporate environment.
- Strong project accounting experience (essential), ideally within construction, infrastructure, or capital projects environments.
- Experience working with UAE tax regulations and VAT.
- Experience coordinating with local auditors and managing audit processes.
- Previous UAE experience is required.
- Comfortable working within a global organisation and collaborating with international teams.
- Ability to operate in a growing or early-stage regional business, demonstrating flexibility and a proactive approach.
- Strong commercial awareness and the ability to act as a strategic partner to the business.
Preferred Background
- Experience within construction, infrastructure, or data centre projects would be highly advantageous, though candidates from other project-based industries will also be considered.
- Professional finance qualifications (ACA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent) preferred.
