Role: Solution Architect Finance
The Finance Solution Architect is responsible for leading the design, governance, and delivery of
finance technology solutions across Aldar Group entities. The role ensures alignment between
Finance business objectives, enterprise architecture standards, and digital transformation
strategy.
The position will act as the primary solution authority for finance domain systems including ERP
platforms, integrations, reporting, automation, and compliance controls. The role is expected to
drive standardization, ensure system scalability, and enable a seamless finance experience for
internal and external stakeholders.
In addition to ERP and finance solution architecture, the role will actively contribute to Aldar's
AI-driven finance transformation, enabling automation, predictive analytics, and intelligent
finance decision support using AI/ML platforms, reporting frameworks, and process
optimization tools.
Responsibilities
Key Accountabilities
1. Finance Solution Architecture & Governance
Define end-to-end solution architecture for finance-related platforms across Aldar Group.
Own finance architecture standards, design principles, and solution governance
framework.
Review and approve functional and technical designs ensuring compliance with Aldar
architecture standards.
Ensure finance solutions are scalable, secure, compliant, and aligned with Aldar's digital
roadmap.
2. ERP Implementation & Transformation Delivery and Improvements
Lead solution design for ERP finance modules including General Ledger, Accounts
Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, Tax, Treasury, and
Budgeting.
3. Process Design & Optimization
Drive process design for core finance cycles including:
o Record to Report (R2R)
o Procure to Pay (P2P)
o Order to Cash (O2C)
o Asset Lifecycle Management
o Project Accounting and Cost Management
o Build To Sale (BTS)
Ensure system design supports business processes and governance requirements,
including DOA and audit compliance.
Identify gaps, recommend improvements, and lead continuous optimization initiatives.
4. Integration & Data Management
Define integration architecture between ERP Finance and upstream/downstream systems
(Procurement, HR, Projects, Banking, Sustainability, Salesforce, Unifier, Pulse,
EstateMaster, Hyperion/Planning Solution and external government platforms).
Ensure robust integration design using standard API frameworks and middleware
platforms.
Drive finance master data governance and ensure integrity of COA, cost centres,
supplier/customer master, and project structures.
Oversee finance data migration and reconciliation strategy to ensure accuracy and
completeness.
5. Reporting, Analytics & Management Visibility
Own finance reporting strategy including operational and management dashboards.
Work closely with BI teams to deliver executive reporting through OTBI, BI Publisher,
Power BI, and Data Lake platforms.
Ensure reporting outputs are aligned with CFO reporting requirements and compliance
standards.
Enable management visibility through automation and real-time reporting capabilities.
6. Compliance, Controls & Audit Readiness
Ensure finance solutions comply with internal controls, audit requirements, segregation
of duties (SoD), and regulatory obligations (VAT, IFRS, statutory reporting).
Support governance reviews and audits by ensuring proper documentation, approvals,
and traceability.
7. AI Enablement, Automation & Digital Finance Innovation
Lead the design and enablement of AI-driven finance solutions to support Aldar's
digital transformation roadmap.
Identify and implement AI/automation opportunities across finance operations, including:
o Invoice automation and intelligent matching
o Predictive cash flow forecasting and treasury insights
o AI-enabled financial variance analysis and anomaly detection
o Automated accrual recommendations and close acceleration
o Intelligent audit and compliance checks (SoD / DOA validations)
o Supplier and customer payment risk scoring

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree/ master's in finance, Accounting, Information Technology,
Engineering, or related discipline.
Master's degree is an advantage.
Preferred Certifications:
Oracle Fusion Finance Certification
TOGAF / Enterprise Architecture Certification
CPA / ACCA (advantage)
AI / Data Analytics certifications (advantage)
