A federal entity in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Finance Specialist to join its finance team.
Requirements:
- Emarati Nationality
- 45 years of relevant finance experience
- Strong knowledge of budgeting, financial reporting, and government financial procedures
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review financial reports, statements, and budgets in accordance with federal regulations.
- Monitor budget utilization and expenditures to ensure effective cost control.
- Support the development of annual financial plans, forecasts, and budget proposals.
- Ensure full compliance with federal financial policies, procedures, and audit requirements.
- Coordinate with internal departments regarding financial transactions, approvals, and reconciliations.
- Review invoices, payment requests, and contracts to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Assist in internal and external audits by providing required financial documentation.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in line with government standards.
- Analyze financial data and prepare management reports and recommendations.
- Support finance-related entries and updates in government ERP systems.
