Financial Analyst - Emirati Talent | Majid Al Futtaim | Business Development
ROLE SUMMARY
The Financial Analyst supports the Business Development function through research, financial analysis, and feasibility assessments of new business opportunities. The role is responsible for delivering data-driven insights, conducting market and competition analysis, and preparing feasibility models and approval documentation to support strategic decision-making.
ROLE PROFILE
- Conduct market research and competition mapping to evaluate new brand and business opportunities.
- Develop and maintain feasibility templates, including benchmarking against existing business data and providing high-level insights.
- Perform financial analysis and deep dives on existing business performance to identify trends and opportunities.
- Prepare Internal Approval Notes (IANs) and supporting documentation for business case submissions.
- Manage and maintain data capture, validation, and reporting, ensuring accuracy and relevance.
- Identify key insights and trends from data to support strategic planning and decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Human Capital, to support initiatives such as incentive planning.
- Monitor customer trends and market dynamics to ensure feasibility studies align with evolving business needs.
- Ensure high standards of data integrity, reporting accuracy, and timely delivery of analysis.
- Support the business in achieving the Dare Today, Change Tomorrow sustainability strategy.
- Build strong working relationships with internal stakeholders to facilitate effective information flow.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- 2–3 years of experience in financial analysis, business analysis, or similar roles.
- Strong skills in data analysis, financial modeling, and reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel.
- Experience in market research and feasibility analysis.
- Retail industry experience is an advantage.
