We are looking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented Financial Analyst with experience in the healthcare sector. The ideal candidate will support financial planning, budgeting, revenue cycle analysis, and performance improvement across clinical and operational departments. This role requires strong understanding of healthcare costing, insurance processes, and regulatory requirements within the UAE.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Planning & Reporting
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management.
- Develop detailed financial forecasts, budgets, and long-term financial plans.
- Analyze performance against budget, including revenue, cost, and margin analysis.
- Produce accurate dashboards, KPIs, and insights to support decision-making.
Healthcare-Specific Responsibilities
- Conduct analysis of revenue cycle management (RCM) including claims, denials, rejections, AR aging, and payer mix.
- Support costing and profitability analysis for clinical services, specialties, and procedures.
- Monitor doctor productivity, utilization metrics, and service-line performance.
- Evaluate insurance pricing, reimbursement trends, and payer contract impacts.
Business Support
- Partner with operations, medical departments, and insurance teams to improve profitability and efficiency.
- Prepare business cases for new medical services, equipment purchases, and expansions.
- Support compliance with healthcare regulations, audits, and internal controls.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
- Preferred: CPA, ACCA, CMA, CFA, or healthcare finance certifications.
- 25 years of experience as a Financial Analyst, ideally in a hospital, clinic, or healthcare organization.
- Strong knowledge of RCM, healthcare costing, and insurance processes in the UAE.
- Proficiency in Excel and financial modeling; experience with healthcare ERPs (Cerner, Epic, TrakCare, etc.) is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and ability to work with clinicians and non-finance teams.
