Job Summary
The Financial Analyst supports Mowasalat's strategic and operational objectives by providing high‑quality financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling. The role contributes to business growth, operational efficiency, and financial performance improvement by delivering accurate insights, robust financial reports, and data‑driven recommendations to support informed decision‑making across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Financial Modeling
- Develop, maintain, and enhance a comprehensive strategic financial model aligned with corporate strategy and business plans.
- Update financial models on a quarterly basis to reflect changes in market conditions, regulatory requirements, and business operations.
- Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and relevance of financial projections while identifying opportunities for improvement.
Financial Modeling & Analysis
- Prepare detailed financial models for new business opportunities, including scenario planning and sensitivity analysis.
- Conduct financial feasibility studies and due diligence for local and international investments.
- Provide actionable insights by identifying financial risks, trends, and growth opportunities.
Financial Planning & Strategy
- Support the development and implementation of financial strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to support strategic financial decisions.
- Identify expansion and growth opportunities through financial evaluation and analysis.
Pricing, Costing & Contract Management
- Develop and maintain contract costing templates ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance.
- Analyze contract scope, terms, and conditions to assess cost structures and pricing.
- Conduct periodic private hire costing reviews and update cost assumptions in collaboration with departments.
- Review customer contracts to ensure pricing remains aligned with market dynamics.
Investment Portfolio Management
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive investment portfolio overview for the company.
- Monitor and analyze investment performance and highlight optimization opportunities.
- Prepare clear and concise financial presentations and reports for senior management.
Reporting & Performance Management
- Develop and maintain financial dashboards and management reports.
- Ensure timely, accurate, and compliant financial reporting.
- Review financial results and provide insights to support strategic decisions.
Risk Management & Compliance
- Identify, assess, and mitigate financial and procurement‑related risks.
- Update and maintain the financial risk register and support mitigation initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, internal policies, and relevant accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP).
- Support the development and maintenance of internal control procedures.
Collaboration & Support
- Work closely with internal departments to ensure financial understanding, alignment, and compliance.
- Participate in cross‑functional initiatives to drive business growth and operational improvement.
Governance & Confidentiality
- Safeguard sensitive and confidential financial information at all times.
- Perform additional related duties as assigned to meet business and operational requirements.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
Experience
- Minimum 7 years of experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Experience within the transportation, service, or infrastructure industry is preferred.
