Job Purpose
The Financial Analyst will support project financial performance through budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and profitability analysis. The role focuses on project-based accounting within EPC, construction, or oil & gas environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and manage project budgets and forecasts
- Perform cost analysis and monitor project margins
- Conduct variance analysis and provide actionable insights
- Track project profitability and financial performance
- Monitor cash flow, billing cycles, and milestone-based revenue
- Support revenue recognition and work-in-progress (WIP) tracking
- Analyze contract structures including Lump Sum, Cost Plus, and EPC contracts
- Prepare and present financial reports to senior management
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across projects and operations
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
- ACCA / Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification required
- 5–10+ years of relevant experience in finance or FP&A
- Experience in EPC, construction, or oil & gas industries preferred
