The Role
The Finance Director will play a key role in managing day-to-day financial operations, ensuring accurate reporting, and supporting business performance through strong financial control and analysis. This is a hands-on position suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced, sales-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Operations
- Oversee daily accounting activities including accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of transactions and reconciliations
- Maintain financial records in line with company policies
Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Provide insights into revenue performance, costs, and profitability
Commission & Sales Finance
- Manage commission calculations and payments for sales teams
- Work closely with sales leadership to track revenue and pipeline performance
- Ensure accuracy in deal recording and financial reporting
Cash Flow Management
- Monitor cash flow and support working capital management
- Assist in managing banking relationships and payments
Compliance & Controls
- Ensure compliance with UAE VAT and corporate tax regulations
- Support audits and ensure all financial processes meet regulatory standards
- Implement and maintain internal controls and procedures
Systems & Process Improvement
- Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and reporting systems
- Support implementation of finance tools and automation where applicable
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Senior Accountant, preferably within real estate or a sales-driven business
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Experience with commission structures and revenue tracking is highly desirable
- Knowledge of UAE VAT and corporate tax
- Professional qualification (ACCA, ACA, CPA or equivalent preferred)
- Strong Excel skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
