Job Description

Assistant Vice President Financial MIS (Qatarization)

We are seeking a highly experienced Assistant Vice President Financial MIS to join the Group Financial Strategy & Business Planning function at a leading Bank in Doha, Qatar.

This role will support key business lines including Corporate, Treasury, Retail, and Asset & Wealth Management, delivering executive-level financial insight, regulatory reporting, and performance analytics to Senior Management and the Board.

This position is open to Qatari Nationals only as part of the banks Qatarization program.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Financial Oversight

  • Support long-term financial strategy and performance management initiatives
  • Deliver high-quality MIS and Board-level reporting
  • Monitor KPIs and analyse performance variances
  • Strengthen funds transfer pricing (FTP) reporting frameworks

Regulatory & Governance Reporting

  • Support periodic regulatory financial submissions
  • Ensure compliance with IFRS, IAS, and related reporting standards
  • Liaise with Audit and Compliance functions

MIS Development & Process Enhancement

  • Enhance reporting tools and methodologies
  • Lead system improvement initiatives in collaboration with IT
  • Standardise reporting across domestic and international operations

Leadership & Stakeholder Management

  • Manage and develop MIS team capability
  • Build strong cross-functional relationships
  • Maintain strict data governance and confidentiality standards

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Banking, Business Administration or related field
  • Minimum 10 years experience within financial MIS/reporting in a reputable international banking environment
  • Managerial experience within MIS or Financial Reporting
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS/IAS
  • Experience with budgeting and transfer pricing mechanisms
  • Professional certifications (CPA, CA, CMA, CFA) preferred
  • Strong communication skills in English (Arabic preferred)
