Role Focus

At Ektis, we partner with leading financial institutions, fintech's, and public-sector clients to solve their most critical challenges. As a Manager, you will take a leading role in shaping and delivering high-impact consulting engagements across these sectors. You will guide teams through complex problems, bring structure and clarity to ambiguity, and work closely with senior client stakeholders to co-create solutions that deliver meaningful, lasting impact.

You will take significant ownership of client relationships, workstreams, and outcomes while helping build an environment where people grow, perform, and thrive.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead engagements across financial services with a focus on fintech, payments, embedded finance, open banking, and digital product strategy
  • Develop end-to-end product strategies that address capability gaps, including make, buy, or partner recommendations
  • Conduct structured assessments of market opportunities, competitor offerings, and the broader fintech ecosystem to identify viable partnership or acquisition targets
  • Drive partnership development, including scouting potential fintech's, evaluating fit, shaping commercial models, and managing early conversations
  • Guide clients through product development cycles, from concept design and prototyping to requirements definition and MVP planning
  • Support digital transformation initiatives covering customer experience, platform enhancements, data-driven decisioning, and cross-functional delivery models
  • Build financial and operational business cases to support strategic decisions on new products, features, partnerships, or technology investments
  • Facilitate workshops, stakeholder interviews, and co-design sessions to align business and product teams
  • Work closely with technology, data, and operations teams to ensure feasibility of new propositions and to support smooth go-to-market execution
  • Provide structured project management support across timelines, risks, dependencies, and governance to ensure high quality engagement outcomes
  • Contribute to internal knowledge, new service offerings, and thought leadership in fintech, digital strategy, and innovation

You Are a Strong Match If You

  • Background in consulting, fintech, or digital financial services, with experience advising or delivering across strategy, digital, or product portfolios
  • Strong exposure to banking, insurance, payments, or wider financial services, with an understanding of emerging fintech models and competitive dynamics
  • Hands-on experience in product strategy and development, including defining product visions, shaping business requirements, and supporting technology teams
  • Deep understanding of partnerships and ecosystem development, including scouting, evaluating, and negotiating with potential fintech or technology partners
  • Knowledge of embedded finance, open banking, and digital platform design; ability to translate these concepts into practical client recommendations
  • Demonstrated experience supporting make / buy / partner assessments and developing clear decision frameworks for clients
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; able to structure ambiguity, simplify complexity, and present clear strategic options
  • Confident communicator with the ability to engage stakeholders across business, product, technology, and executive levels
  • Comfortable working in fast-growing, high-pressure environments and adapting quickly to changing client needs
  • Natural team contributor with a collaborative mindset and commitment to delivering high-quality work
  • Passion for innovation in financial services and desire to help shape the next generation of digital products in the region
  • Are fluent in English (Arabic is a strong plus)
