Job Role Purpose & Scope
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for carrying out routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance tasks to ensure the proper operation of equipment and facilities for Fire alarm system and Fire fighting systems
Direct Role:
Making sure all work complies with relevant codes NFPA and regulations.
Completing all assignments.
Performing inspections and diagnosing any problems.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance works as per schedule
Follow safety procedures and work instructions
Completing full installations.
Travelling occasionally to customer locations.
Reading, understanding, and following product manuals.
Educating customers on care and maintenance.
Writing service and status reports.
Analyzing plans.
Testing all features and equipment to ensure optimum functioning.
Willingness to work after hours and on weekends.
Job Competencies:
1.1 Required Education:
Associate or technical degree.
1.2 Required Knowledge:
Alarm system and fire fighting experience.
Valid driver's license.
1.3 Required Skills:
Excellent problem-solving skills.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
Track record of excellent customer service.
1.4 Required Experience: 5 years
Minimum 5 years of experience in Maintenance Technician.
