Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in kuwait for a Fire Engineer at an Oil & Gas Company. The Fire Engineer will be responsible for designing, inspecting, and maintaining fire protection systems to ensure maximum safety and compliance with industry standards. Daily tasks include conducting risk assessments, developing fire safety strategies, overseeing the installation of fire suppression systems, and performing audits to ensure life safety measures are met. Collaboration with other engineering teams and maintaining regulatory compliance are key aspects of the role.
Qualifications
- 8 to 10 years of Experience with Fire Protection Engineering and Fire Suppression Systems design and maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of Fire Safety and Life Safety protocols, as well as their application in industrial environments.
- Proficiency in Safety Engineering, including assessing risks, implementing preventive measures, and managing compliance processes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Bachelor's degree in Fire Protection Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications such as Certified Fire Protection Specialist (CFPS) or equivalent are a plus.
- Experience in the Oil & Gas or similar high-risk industries is beneficial.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams effectively.
