We seek a skilled Interior Fit Out Estimator with a proven background in estimating for high-end interior projects. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Construction Management or a related field, possesses strong analytical abilities, and excels in collaboration. Proficiency in estimation software, meticulous attention to detail, and effective communication skills are essential. Roles and Responsibilities
Estimation and Cost Analysis:
- Conduct detailed cost estimates for interior fit-out projects, including materials, labor, and associated expenses.
- Analyze project specifications, drawings, and other documents to ensure accurate and comprehensive cost assessments.
- Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and constraints.
Budget Management:
- Monitor and control project costs throughout the construction phase.
- Provide ongoing cost analysis and identify potential cost-saving opportunities.
- Collaborate with project teams to address any budget variances and propose solutions.
Industry Knowledge:
- Stay abreast of industry trends, pricing fluctuations, and advancements in construction materials.
- Utilize market knowledge to negotiate favorable terms with suppliers and subcontractors.
Requirements
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management/Civil Engineering/Quantity Surveying/or a related field.
- 5-7 years experience as an Interior Fit Out Estimator in the same industry.
Skills:
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
- Proficient in estimation software and tools like PlanSwift etc.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills & attention to detail and accuracy.
Team Collaboration:
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Communicate effectively with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders.
Adaptability:
- Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities.
