Fit-Out Project Manager

1. Position Purpose

This role is responsible for end-to-end control, governance, and execution of Fit-Out works within Dubai Outlet Mall (DOM), ensuring tenant coordination, authority compliance, cost control, safety, quality, and timely delivery while protecting the Client's technical, legal, and operational interests.

2. Key Responsibilities

- Tenant coordination from unit handover to opening

- Compliance with DOM Fit-Out Manual, Mall Technical Standards, and Authority regulations

- Review and approval of drawings, method statements, and material submittals

- Site supervision, inspections, and non-compliance enforcement

- Authority coordination (DCD, DM, DDA, DEWA)

- Testing, commissioning, and final handover

- Reporting, documentation, and risk management

- Cost control and protection of mall assets

3. Authority & Compliance Responsibilities

Ensure full compliance with Dubai Civil Defense, Dubai Municipality, Dubai Development Authority, DEWA, RTA, and other relevant authorities, including inspection coordination, approvals, and closures.

4. Health, Safety & Quality

Enforce HSE standards, mall safety rules, QA/QC procedures, defect control, and rectification processes.

5. Reporting & Documentation

Maintain detailed records, reports, logs, approvals, and correspondence to support audits, claims, and operational handover.

6. Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (Mandatory).

Minimum 10years of experience as a Project Manager in construction and retail fit-out projects, preferably within mall environments.

Prior hands-on experience as a Civil Engineer in construction works is required to ensure strong technical foundation.

Proven experience in managing multiple units simultaneously under strict timelines and store opening deadlines.

Strong expertise in preparation and verification of BOQs, quantity take-off, cost estimation, pricing analysis, and variation (TVR) assessment.

Demonstrated ability to technically and commercially evaluate contractor quotations and maintain strict project cost control.

Solid experience in managing civil works, structural modifications, MEP provisions, and finishing works within operational environments.

Strong coordination capabilities with MEP, Leasing, Legal, FM, and Mall Operations teams.

Comprehensive knowledge of UAE authority regulations and approval processes (DCD, DM, DEWA, DDA, etc.).

Strong professional written communication skills including drafting of formal emails, notices, meeting minutes, and escalation letters.

High level of documentation control and reporting discipline to support compliance, audit, and risk mitigation requirements.

Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel (Advanced), and MS Project or Primavera.

Monthly Salary AED 18,000
