Fit-out Technical Drawing Draftsman

About the Role: We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Retail Furniture Draftsman to join our dynamic team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in preparing detailed technical and shop drawings for bespoke furniture and joinery items tailored for retail and commercial environments.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare precise 2D and 3D shop drawings for furniture and retail fixtures using AutoCAD or similar software

- Work closely with the design, production, and site teams to translate concepts into manufacturable designs

- Modify and update drawings based on site measurements, client feedback, and material limitations

- Ensure compliance with local manufacturing standards and tolerances

- Create cutting lists, material specifications, and assist in BOQ preparation when needed

Requirements:

- 3+ years of experience as a Furniture Draftsman or Joinery Draftsman, ideally in Dubai or the GCC

- Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D required, 3D a plus)

- Familiarity with materials such as wood, MDF, metal, acrylic, and upholstery

- Strong understanding of shop drawings, joinery details, and technical documentation

- Ability to interpret interior design plans and client sketches

- Good communication and coordination skills

- Diploma/Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related technical field is preferred
