Fleet Mechanical Engineer

Job Summary

We're looking for a seasoned Fleet Mechanical Engineer to lead our bus maintenance and engineering efforts. You'll oversee our fleet of MCV and Volvo buses, ensuring they're road-ready and running efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and implement maintenance strategies for our diverse bus fleet

- Lead troubleshooting and repair of complex mechanical issues

- Collaborate with operations to minimize downtime and optimize fleet availability

- Analyze fleet performance data to identify areas for improvement

- Develop and manage budgets for maintenance and repairs

- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards

- Lead a team of technicians and engineers

- Develop and implement cost-saving initiatives

- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and new technologies

Requirements

- 10+ years of experience in fleet maintenance or mechanical engineering

- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field

- Experience with MCV, Volvo, Izar, and MAN buses

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Leadership experience

- Excellent communication and project management skills

Nice to Have

- Experience with telematics and fleet management software

- Experience with electric or hybrid vehicles
