The Food & Beverage Manager plays a pivotal leadership role in driving the success of all dining, banquet, and event operations within the hotel. This position is accountable for delivering exceptional guest experiences, maximizing revenue and profitability, and maintaining the highest standards of quality, service, and safety. The role requires a strategic leader with proven expertise in event planning, client relations, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all aspects of the hotel's Food & Beverage operations, including restaurants, banquets, catering, and events.
- Achieve and exceed budgeted targets for revenue, labor costs, and overall profitability.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for group meetings and banquet clients, ensuring seamless planning, execution, and follow-up.
- Oversee billing processes for functions of all scales, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and timely invoicing.
- Ensure food and beverage offerings meet premium quality standards and that service consistently exceeds guest expectations.
- Direct and inspire the Food & Beverage team through effective training, performance management, and professional development initiatives.
- Optimize inventory control, purchasing, and vendor management to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality assurance.
- Collaborate with the Sales and Marketing team to design promotional strategies, enhance brand visibility, and maintain competitive market positioning.
- Guarantee all staff comply with industry certifications, health & safety standards, and hotel policies.
- Implement and monitor safety protocols, including fire safety, hygiene compliance, and emergency response readiness.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Postgraduate degree or diploma in Hotel Management or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in Food & Beverage management, including proven success as a Banquet Supervisor or in a senior hospitality role.
- Strong leadership, client relationship management, and financial acumen.
