Formwork Design Engineer

As a Formwork Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, reviewing, and optimizing formwork and falsework systems for construction projects. This includes preparing detailed formwork drawings and calculations, ensuring structural safety, constructability, and cost efficiency, and coordinating with site, planning, and construction teams to meet project requirements. Your expertise will support safe execution, efficient construction methods, and successful project delivery in line with project schedules and standards.

Job Responsibilities

• Design and analyze formwork/shuttering systems for slabs, walls, columns, and beams.
• Prepare detailed AutoCAD drawings and BOQs (Bill of Quantities).
• Perform required structural calculations.
• Coordinate with site engineers to ensure design feasibility and safety compliance.
• Review project specifications and recommend formwork materials.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or Structural Engineering
• 1-5 years in formwork design.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SAP2000
• Problem-solving, teamwork, and communication.
