Job Summary

Protecting Miral's global assets, reputation, and trust in a high-stakes leisure and hospitality environment requires a sharp, אסתטי strategic leader who excels in fraud risk management and investigations. As the Senior Manager Fraud Control, you'll architect and refine a cutting-edge fraud prevention framework, leveraging data analytics and UAE regulations—like ADAA—while overseeing complex investigations across procurement, revenue, and operations. Your expertise in forensic techniques, closing loopholes in ticketing, procurement, and vendor relationships, and translating risks into actionable controls will safeguard bottom lines and ethical standards. The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of UAE-based fraud, compliance, or internal audit experience—preferably in entertainment, hospitality, or high-asset industries—and certifications like CFE or CIA. Here, you'll lead cross-functional teams, influence leadership decisions with insights, and champion a culture of integrity while driving automation and reporting innovations to outpace evolving threats. Expect dynamic challenges, direct impact on financial health, and a platform to elevate compliance maturity in a fast-growing, globally recognized organization like Miral.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the identification, assessment, and documentation of fraud risks across all Miral operations, including procurement, contracting, finance, revenue, ticketing, warehousing, asset management, and vendor relationships
  • Develop, maintain, and continuously improve a comprehensive fraud risk management framework, fraud risk register, and control library aligned with Miral's governance strategy and UAE regulatory expectations
  • Embed preventive controls into business processes, systems, and policies to minimize fraud exposure at source
  • Integrate ADAA requirements, UAE Federal laws, and relevant local regulations into fraud control design and monitoring activities
  • Leverage data analytics, continuous monitoring, and system-based controls to proactively identify anomalies, red flags, and emerging fraud risks
  • Lead and oversee complex and sensitive fraud investigations, ensuring procedural fairness, evidence integrity, confidentiality, and compliance with UAE legal requirements
  • Establish and manage a structured investigation methodology, including case intake, assessment, evidence gathering, interviews, documentation, and reporting
  • Coordinate closely with relevant departments to ensure appropriate corrective, disciplinary, and remedial actions are implemented
  • Prepare clear, defensible investigation reports with findings, root causes, financial impact assessments, and actionable recommendations for senior management
  • Liaise, where required, with external regulators, law enforcement, forensic specialists, or legal advisors in line with company protocol
  • Provide fraud risk oversight across procurement and contract lifecycle management, including tendering, evaluations, awards, variations, and payments
  • Detect and prevent collusion, conflicts of interest, bid-rigging, kickbacks, and policy breaches involving employees or third parties
  • Support the strengthening of third-party due diligence, vendor risk assessments, and conflict-of-interest declarations
  • Oversee fraud risk monitoring within ticketing systems, revenue collection, cash handling, refunds, discounts, promotions, and access controls across attractions
  • Conduct targeted reviews, surprise audits, and data-driven testing to identify revenue leakage, misuse of assets, or operational fraud
  • Support operational teams in implementing practical, risk-based controls that balance fraud prevention with guest experience and efficiency
  • Develop regular fraud risk reports and dashboards highlighting trends, case outcomes, and preventive measures
  • Deliver fraud awareness and ethics training to employees and contractors
  • Support governance team with fraud-related insights and improvement recommendations
  • Promote a speak-up and whistleblowing culture, supporting confidential reporting mechanisms and non-retaliation principles
  • Act as a trusted advisor to the business on ethical dilemmas, conflict-of-interest management, and fraud risk scenarios
  • Benchmark Miral's fraud framework against international best practices (e.g., ACFE, ISO 37001, COSO)
  • Lead initiatives to enhance fraud detection maturity, including automation, analytics, and integration with ERP and ticketing systems
  • Contribute to policy development, including fraud policy, investigation protocols, whistleblowing policy, and disciplinary frameworks

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in fraud control, investigations, compliance, internal audit, or risk management
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Forensic Audit, Law, or a related discipline
  • Proven UAE experience with strong working knowledge of Abu Dhabi Accountability Authority (ADAA) requirements and UAE Federal Laws related to fraud, financial crime, and misconduct
  • Experience operating in large, complex, or government/semi-government organizations
