With over 200 million products available, we are rapidly growing and looking for a creative, social-media-savvy Freelance Content Creator to join our team in Dubai.
Role Overview
We're looking for someone who lives and breathes content creation from ideation to execution. You'll be responsible for creating engaging in-house content for our social media platforms, staying ahead of trends, and building Desertcart's brand presence across different audiences.
Responsibilities
- Plan, shoot, and edit high-quality content (video, reels, TikToks, stories, photos).
- Stay on top of trends, challenges, and viral formats across platforms.
- Brainstorm and execute content ideas aligned with Desertcart's brand and campaigns.
- Work closely with the marketing and design teams to deliver content on time.
- Analyze performance of posts and adjust strategies for better engagement.
- Be the face/voice behind some content where needed (comfortable being on camera).
Requirements
- Based in Dubai with strong understanding of the local and regional social media landscape.
- Deep knowledge of Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and emerging platforms.
- Skilled in content creation tools (CapCut, Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Canva, etc.).
- Highly creative, social-media savvy, and always up-to-date with the latest online culture.
- Strong communication skills in English; Arabic is a plus.
- Portfolio or examples of previous social content required.
