The Freelance Events Manager will lead the planning and execution of projects and events on a project basis, ensuring all logistics are managed efficiently, and that deliverables are completed within budget and on time. This role requires collaborating with internal teams and external partners to ensure every event meets Maison Pyramide's standards and enhances the client's brand image. The Freelance Events Manager should be able to conceptualize events, pitch creative ideas to clients, and manage full execution from start to finish.
JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Consult with clients to understand their event requirements.
Develop event strategies and timelines tailored to each client.
Present and pitch creative event concepts that align with client objectives.
Conduct research to identify potential new clients and project opportunities.
Build and maintain relationships with vendors (catering, venues, production, floral, photography, entertainment, etc.).
Lead negotiations with vendors to secure the best services within budget.
Collaborate with Marketing, PR, and Social Media teams on event ideation and activation.
Prepare and manage event budgets and timelines.
Oversee accommodation and logistics arrangements for guests and teams.
Manage on-site event teams to ensure smooth execution.
Ensure compliance with local safety, health, and security regulations.
Adjust plans and schedules as required to meet changing needs.
Select and secure appropriate event venues.
Track event expenses, invoices, and overall financials.
Deliver post-event reports evaluating impact and results.
