Freelance Sponsorship Specialist - Events (Immediate Start)

We are seeking an experienced Sponsorship Specialist to support the development and execution of a comprehensive sponsorship plan for an upcoming high-profile event. This is an immediate, project-based role with the potential for future collaboration on similar submissions.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in securing sponsors for large-scale events, with access to relevant sponsor databases and industry contacts. You will work closely with our team to identify, approach, and secure sponsorships, while also designing a structured sponsorship tier system (Platinum, Gold, Silver, etc.).

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop a full sponsorship strategy tailored to the event, including innovative sponsorship opportunities.
• Source and approach potential sponsors, leveraging industry contacts and databases.
• Create a clear sponsorship tier structure (Platinum, Gold, Silver, etc.) with benefits for each level.
• Prepare sponsorship proposals and presentations for internal review and external outreach.
• Support the submission for the upcoming event deadline.
• Provide guidance on sponsorship strategy that can be adapted for future events.

Requirements:

• Proven track record in sponsorship acquisition for large-scale events.
• Access to sponsor databases or strong industry network to reach high-profile companies (e.g., Emar or similar).
• Strong understanding of sponsorship tiers, benefits, and ROI for partners.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and deliver high-quality proposals quickly.
