1- Role Purpose (Why this role exists)
Freight Management, Pricing & Network Specialist is responsible for rate governance, carrier/network management, and margin protection across Jadeer's freight portfolio (Air, Ocean, Road, Multimodal), while enabling sales to win competitively and profitably. This role acts as the commercial nerve center between Sales, Operations, and external carriers/agents.
2- Core Accountabilities (What Success Looks Like)
- Pricing Management & Margin Control (Primary)
Prepare, validate, and control freight pricing (spot, contract, RFQ)
Ensure adherence to minimum margin thresholds and pricing authority matrix
Maintain accurate cost structures (freight, surcharges, local charges)
Monitor yield per TEU / AWB and identify margin leakage
- Carrier & Network Management
Manage Relationships With
Shipping lines
Airlines
Overseas agents & networks
Support carrier negotiations in coordination with Commercial Manager
Track carrier performance (rate stability, space protection, reliability)
Maintain approved agent & carrier list
- Trade Lane & Market Intelligence
Monitor key trade lanes (AsiaKSA, EUKSA, GCC)
Track market rate movements, blank sailings, congestion, capacity shifts
Provide pricing guidance and alerts to Sales & Management
Support strategic decisions (NVOCC readiness, allocation planning)
- Sales Enablement & RFQ Support
Support Sales Executives with competitive, compliant quotations
Participate in major RFQs and tenders
Provide alternative routing / carrier solutions when required
Ensure turnaround time for quotes meets SLA
- Governance, Data & Reporting
Maintain pricing databases and rate sheets
Prepare commercial dashboards (GM, win rate, carrier performance)
Support audits and compliance reviews
Ensure pricing transparency and documentation

6- Experience & Qualifications
58 years in freight forwarding pricing, commercial, or
network roles
Strong exposure to Air & Ocean freight
Experience With KSA / GCC Trade Lanes Preferred
Bachelor's degree (Logistics, Business, Finance, or
similar)
Fluent English (Arabic advantage)
