Citadines Metro Central is looking for a motivated Front Office Intern to support daily front desk operations and deliver excellent guest service. This internship provides hands-on exposure to hospitality operations and an opportunity to develop professional skills in a dynamic hotel environment. Key responsibilities include

  • Assist in welcoming guests in a warm, professional, and courteous manner in line with brand standards.
  • Support the check-in and check-out process, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Handle guest inquiries, requests, and basic complaints promptly, escalating when necessary.
  • Answer and direct phone calls, emails, and other guest communications professionally.
  • Assist with room allocations, key issuance, and maintaining accurate guest records in the PMS system.
  • Coordinate with Housekeeping and Maintenance to ensure room readiness and guest satisfaction.
  • Provide information about property facilities, services, and local attractions.
  • Support daily cash handling procedures and basic billing processes.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk and lobby area.
  • Observe and learn standard operating procedures, service standards, and brand guidelines.
  • Assist the Front Office team with administrative tasks and daily reports as required.
  • Currently pursuing a diploma or degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism, or a related field.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Customer-focused with a friendly and professional demeanor.
  • Good organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Basic computer literacy (MS Office); familiarity with Property Management Systems is an advantage.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and strong team player mindset.
  • Well-groomed appearance in line with hospitality standards.
