(Aviation Fuel Facility Manager / Fuel Farm Site Manager)

The Fuel Farm Manager is the most senior operational position at the fuel farm facility and holds overall accountability for all aspects of the site's performance. This individual serves as the primary point of contact between the fuel farm operation and the airport authority, fuel suppliers, regulatory agencies, and airline customers.

The Fuel Farm Manager oversees the complete lifecycle of jet fuel (Jet A-1) from receipt at the custody transfer interface through storage, quality control, and distribution via the hydrant network to aircraft. Key responsibilities include developing and enforcing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), managing the site budget, directing procurement of spare parts and consumables, and ensuring full compliance with applicable regulations including GACA requirements, JIG standards, and the Energy Institute (EI) codes.

This role carries direct line management responsibility for all supervisory and technical staff on site, including Operations Supervisors, the Maintenance Engineer, the Fuel Quality Supervisor, and the HSE Officer. The Fuel Farm Manager is also responsible for preparing and submitting operational and performance reports to the airport authority (e.g., RAC), conducting or overseeing incident investigations, and leading emergency response exercises.

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Management, or a related field. Minimum 710 years of experience in aviation fuel operations, with at least 35 years in a management or supervisory capacity. Strong knowledge of JIG, ATA 103, API, and EI standards. Valid airport security clearance required.
