Seeking a Full Stack Web and Mobile app developer to lead, design and develop mobile/portal applications. Extensive experience in developing performant Web Portal and Hybrid Mobile applications (Android and iOS) using Flutter, Ionic, Java-based middleware along with PostgreSQL.
About the Role
Primary responsibilities to include designing, documenting, developing, and implementing enterprise grade solutions for Portal (Flutter), Mobile Hybrid App for Android and IOS (IONIC) and JAVA middleware.
Responsibilities
- Deploying and managing applications using containers, ideally using Azure PaaS services
- Experience in creating quality documentation for the solution
- Well versed with Azure DevOps, responsible for maintaining CI/CD Pipelines
- Maintain existing web and mobile applications including changes, fixing bugs and performance issues among others
- Develop and maintain REST and SOAP based APIs using Java
- Develop and maintain application integration with central identity solutions using standard protocols such as OpenID, OAuth, SAML etc.
- Identifying, proposing, and implementing best-fit solutions in a complex business environment
- Working to understand customer requirements and collaborating on the design, development, and maintenance of new and existing features
- Responsible for the UI and UX for Portal and Mobile applications
- Assure a high standard of quality in your own work and peers on your team via good coding practices, process improvements, clean designs, smart testing, and review practices
- Troubleshooting interface software and debugging application codes
- Application logging, Monitoring, Performance, and troubleshooting using central logging tools such as Azure Application Insights or others as necessary
- Deploy and maintain the apps on Apple Store and Play Store
- Perform third-party APIs plugin integrations in web and/or hybrid apps
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a similar field
- 8+ years of experience as a Full Stack Mobile/Portal developer
- Fluency in English language for effective communication
- Experience working in agile development teams involved in new product development
- Experience in Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines
Required Skills
- Proficiency with Flutter, JavaScript, Typescript, Ionic, HTML5, CSS and Java
- Working experience in REST and SOAP based API's using JAVA
- Excellent working knowledge of Flutter
- Experience developing hybrid mobile applications (IOS and Android) and Web Portals
- Familiarity with push notifications, and cloud messaging API's
- Familiarity with native build tools, like XCode
- Experience working with PostgreSQL
- Extensive knowledge of mobile APIs and UI standards and Proven skills in UI/UX design and implementation
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token
- Familiarity with code versioning tools such as Git
- Experience in implementing mobile application security
