Furniture Designer

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Furniture Designer, based in Heliopolis. The Furniture Designer will conceptualize, design, and develop innovative furniture pieces, ensuring they meet functional, aesthetic, and ergonomic standards. Responsibilities include collaborating with the production team, creating technical drawings, selecting materials, and refining prototypes to align with brand values. The role involves staying updated with design trends and ensuring products adhere to sustainable practices and exceptional quality benchmarks.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Furniture Design, Carpentry, and Furniture craftsmanship
• Background in Interior Design and Product Design
• Excellent creativity and ability to develop contemporary and functional designs
• Attention to detail and expertise in preparing technical drawings and prototypes
• Experience with sustainable design practices is a plus
• Proficient in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar tools
• Bachelor's degree in Furniture Design, Product Design, or related field preferred
