Responsibilities
* Meet with client in order to understand the client's objectives and desires
* Communicate effectively with client, vendors and team in order to address client's needs
* Maintain industry knowledge in order to stay relevant
* Responsible for the entire F,F&E design, project management, procurement activities for Residential and commercial projects.
* Prepare sales contracts, Agreements and technical sheets to get it signed by the customer.
* Prepare and develop shop drawings, models, images, materials, mood boards and other documents related to the design.
* Assist in showrooms planning.
* Contact with client/consultants/vendors on all FF&E or specifications matters and attend site meetings.
* Determine the client's goals, research, identify and document all the FF&E needs.
* Develop FF&E menus, create mood and sample boards and document furniture specifications, schedules, material references and record approved colors and finishes.
* Prepare FF&E data sheet, tender documents & B.O.Q.
* Handle purchasing for all areas as identified to support architecture and interior design projects and request pricing from suppliers.
* Research new brands, products and design trends to develop the company's portfolio.
* Update design studios with the latest trends, materials library and catalogues, 2D, 3D blocks, etc...
Qualifications
* Professional degree in Interior Design or Architecture.
* 1-3 years of experience in all phases of design, from schematic to specifications in commercial interior design.
* Space planning experience is desired.
* Previous FF&E marketplace experience a plus.
* Knowledge of furniture systems, case goods, seating and ancillary products is required.
* Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail is required.
* Ability to handle multiple deadlines and collaborate in-house and with external consultants.
* Fluent in English language.
* Skilled knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Adobe Acrobat, Photoshop, and In-design required. AutoCAD, and Sketchup and other necessary technical tools for the project.
* Revit and 3D Max are a plus
