Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Furniture Technical Designer, located in Qesm El Maadi. The Furniture Technical Designer will be responsible for creating technical designs, ensuring garment construction and fitting specifications, and pattern making. Daily tasks include collaborating with the design team, producing accurate technical drawings, overseeing the production process, and ensuring quality control. The designer will also be expected to stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in furniture design and manufacturing.
Qualifications
- Experience in the furniture industry is a Must
- Technical Design and shop drawing skills
- Expertise in Garment Construction and Fitting
- Architecture knowledge related to furniture design
- Strong attention to detail and precision in work
- Proficiency in CAD , sketchup and other relevant design tools
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Architecture, or related field
