Role
The Gaming Assurance Specialist will support the Gaming Assurance Manager and the Enterprise Risk and Assurance team in executing User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and other quality assurance activities for iGaming, The Lottery, and Raffle business. This role is responsible for ensuring that test cases are well-articulated, structured, and executed across multiple platforms and device types, ensuring timely and high-quality testing outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support UAT Execution: Assist in planning, conducting, and documenting User Acceptance Testing for ongoing and upcoming gaming projects.
- Test Case Development: Ensure test cases are well-defined, aligned with business requirements, and cover functional and technical aspects across various platforms and device types.
- Quality Assurance Activities: Support periodic exercises to validate game performance, security, and compliance with industry standards.
- Cross-Platform Testing: Validate gaming products across multiple channels, including desktop, mobile, retail terminals, and interactive platforms.
- Defect Tracking and Resolution: Identify, document, and follow up on defects, ensuring timely resolution with development teams.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Work closely with internal teams, including risk, compliance, product, and technology, to ensure test objectives are met.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all testing processes align with regulatory and internal control requirements, including GCGRA mandates.
- Reporting and Documentation: Prepare detailed test reports, summarize findings, and contribute to post-UAT assessments for continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in computer science, Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related field.
- 4-8 years of experience in quality assurance, UAT, or gaming assurance within iGaming, Lottery, or regulated gaming environments.
- Proven track record in managing UAT for multiple gaming platforms, including mobile, web, and retail systems.
- Strong experience with test management tools, defect tracking systems, and automated/manual testing methodologies.
- Prior experience in a regulated gaming environment with knowledge of industry compliance and quality standards is a plus.
- Gaming Compliance & Standards Knowledge of GCGRA requirements and industry best practices for lottery, iGaming, and raffle businesses.
- Stakeholder Communication Strong ability to coordinate with product, risk, compliance, and technology teams to align test strategies.
- Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills Ability to evaluate test results, identify issues, and provide recommendations for quality improvement.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey technical information clearly and concisely.
- Document and Reporting Experience in preparing detailed UAT reports, defect logs, and test execution summaries for senior stakeholders.
- Time Management & Multitasking Ability to manage multiple parallel UAT projects in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines.
- Proficiency in English is required.
