General Accountant

We are looking for an experienced General Accountant to join our Finance team.

Job Summary:

Carrying out all financial activities and operations related to the company different accounting functions and submitting monthly, quarterly and annual reports on their balances, tracking any changes and reconciling them in line with the IFRS standards and the standards issued by SOCPA, as well as Leejam's financial and accounting policies & procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and record accounting entries for accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, cash, investments, and adjustments.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Perform bank, balance sheet, and inventory reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Prepare tax-related calculations and filings while ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.
• Assist in stocktaking activities and inventory verification.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, accounting policies, and internal controls.
• Support internal and external audit requirements.

Key Requirements:

• CPA, ACCA, or CA qualification preferred
• Fluence in English is a must
• Minimum 4 years of experience in an audit firm
• Minimum 3 years of accounting experience within a corporate environment (non-construction industry)
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting standards
• Hands-on experience preparing full sets of consolidated financial statements
• Experience managing related-party reconciliations and coordinating with external auditors
• Advanced knowledge of Accounts Payable, Budgeting, and Financial Reporting
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
