General Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented General Accountant to join our team in Cairo, Egypt. This is a full-time, on-site position. The General Accountant will handle daily financial transactions, including preparing financial reports, managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank statements, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. Additionally, the role involves assisting in budgeting, tax reporting, and audits while maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records.

• Proficiency in financial accounting, general ledger entries, and financial reporting.
• Strong skills in budgeting, tax preparations, and compliance with financial regulations.
• Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
• Competency in using accounting software and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline is required.
• Professional certifications such as CPA or CMA are a plus.
• Prior experience in the engineering or consultancy sector is advantageous.
• Fluency in English and Arabic is preferred.
