EVRaid is seekinga General Accountantto own and manage the full accounting cycle across our corporate financial operations.
The selected candidate will act as a key accounting contributor, responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing AP/AR activities, and ensuring compliance with Egyptian accounting and tax regulations.the ideal candidate must demonstrate high accuracy, strong analytical capabilities, and the ability to coordinate effectively with internal departments and external auditors to ensure financial integrity and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities :
- Ability to independently record and review daily journal entries and maintain accurate general ledger accounts.
- Solid experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes efficiently.
- Prepare accurate financial reports and supporting schedules.
- Perform bank reconciliations and oversee petty cash management.
- Review supplier invoices and employee expense claims for accuracy and compliance.
- Prepare and review VAT, Withholding Tax (WHT), and other tax reports in compliance with Egyptian tax regulations.
- Support and coordinate with external auditors during audit processes.
- Ensure proper documentation and organized financial records.
Must Have:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 25+ years of proven experience in general accounting.
- Mandatory experience usingOdoo ERPsystem for accounting operations.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, reporting, reconciliation).
